2019年U40中澳暑期工作营将于2019年2月20-22日在科廷大学举办。本届工作营主题为“数字化生存”,分主题包括:“数字化与弱势群体(老年人、残障人士)”,“游戏与青少年”,“数字化设计”,“智慧城市和社区”。
为期三天的工作营将为来自中国和澳洲的在校研究生、博士生及青年学者提供难得的学术交流机会:与来自数字文化、游戏和设计领域的优秀学者交流,展示个人研究成果,参与相关主题工作坊,获得专家学者的指导等。
我们诚挚地邀请从事相关主题研究的在校研究生、博士生及青年学者参与本次工作营。我们将为参与者提供暑期营期间的住宿和午餐。
申请材料包括:
· 个人简历;
· 300-500字的论文摘要,来自个人未发表过的研究;具体要求参见摘要模板;
· 上述申请材料均需用英文;请查阅随后附上的摘要模板并在填写后发回给我们。
注:论文摘要获得录取的申请人将被要求提供一份1000字以内的研究计划(长摘要),并在暑期营上报告研究计划

Being Digital
2019 U40 China-Australia Summer School

Format: The 2019 China-Australia U40Summer School and Conference will be held at Curtin University from February 20– 22. The theme ofthis year’s event is Being Digital. Sub-themes include:Digital Disadvantage (Ageing; Disability), Gaming and Young People, DigitalDesign, and Smart Cities and Communities.
The 3-dayprogram provides post-graduate students and emerging scholars from China andAustralia with a valuable opportunity to share ideas with leading experts inthe fields of digital culture, gaming and design. Opportunities to presentresearch; and to participate in focussed workshops; as well as to be mentoredby experts in specific fields form part of the program. Accommodation and lunchwill be provided to our participants during the summer school.
Submissionsfrom Masters and PhD students; and from Early Career Researchers, carrying outresearch related to one of the themes of the workshop are welcomed.
Applicationsshould include:
· A CV
· A 300 to 500 words abstract relating to new and unpublished research
· All applications should be in English, and use the abstract template,which is available below
Note:Successful applicants will be required to submit a research plan (longabstract) within 1,000 words and report the research plan at the summer school.
