On May 23, 2025, 18 international students from 11 countries, including Germany, Thailand, and Yemen, gathered at the Zijingang Campus for a hands-on experience with the traditional Chinese art of shao bo hua (gilded foil painting). Guided by multimedia presentations, students immersed themselves in the craft's ancient techniques. As they carefully burned, carved, and applied metal foil, their final creations sparkled with pride and joy—blending heritage with creativity, and building cultural bridges through the brilliance of gold.
