OnJan. 31, a new Innovation Center of ZJU International Innovation Institute(ZIII) was set up in Tokyo.  

ZHAO Rongxiang, directorof ZIII delivered a congratulatory speech at the unveiling ceremony. Heintroduced Global ZJU to the guests and shared with them the achievements thatZIII has made in recent years. He expected the ZIII Tokyo Innovation Center toconnect the University with Japan, thereby contributing to the docking oftalents, technology and capital, the construction of an internationalizedinnovation ecosystem and the globalization of Zhejiang University.

TheZIII Tokyo Innovation Center is the third innovation center after the SiliconValley Center and the Berlin Center. ZIII is poised to set up another threeoverseas innovation centers in Singapore, London and Boston in the future.

TheTokyo Center aims to converge quality resources across the globe to create aninternationalized industry-academia-research ecosystem. The center will alsoserve as a bridge between China and Japan in science, technology, capital andhuman resources.
